We hired Mercedes as our baby was not healthy enough to begin daycare yet, but we needed to return to work. Mercedes was so caring, arriving on time or even early every day, which was a huge help. She constantly talks and smiles at the baby, interacting and giving him one-on-one time that you can't get in a daycare location. She went for daily walks around the neighborhood to get fresh air and expose him to new scenery, and made sure he was always well fed and clean. Our son started with her under the first percentile in weight due to preemie size, and by the time she left his doctor was astonished at how much he had grown physically and mentally, and I attribute that to Mercedes! We love her and feel as if we have known her for a long time even though it has only been a few months.
