About Mena

I have been a babysitter since 2013, and have various leadership experience relevant to childcare and youth development. I am excited about connecting kids with the outdoors, with their peers, and teaching them skills that will allow them to become successful adults! I like working with kids because they teach me new things all the time. Their perspectives on the world keep me curious and remind me not to take things for granted. I'm looking for a job that allows me to make a positive impact on the lives of the family that I work for, and I also want that family to uplift and support me through clear and consistent communication, reliability, and fair compensation. In my spare time, I like to dance! I also love to rollerskate, hike, spend time outside, and spend time with friends! My skills include developmentally appropriate play/learning opportunities, identifying and managing challenging behaviors, and fulfilling a child's basic needs.
