I'm 40 years old and raised my own 2 children who are 19 and 20. I'm currently working part-time for a NP, caring for her 19-month-old daughter for the last 10 months. Occasionally, I do care for her 3-year-old son as well. I have over 25 years of experience with babies and toddlers. I took care of my nephew full-time, who was born with Cystitis Fibrosis. He is now a healthy 24-year-old thriving at life. More recently, I have been taking care of my sister, who is terminally ill with ALS. For 17 years, I've worked in various healthcare settings, family medicine, emergency room, ortho, psychiatry, etc. I'm CPR certified. I also love to teach children the basics of sign language. I feel it is a wonderful way for little ones to communicate when they're not quite ready to use their words. I have references/letters upon request.
