About Meloney
Experience: 10 yrs
I have 26 years experience caring for newborns, toddlers and school-age children. I have 14 years paid experience working with 5 different families. I have been helping out with my 3 younger brothers since I was 9 years of age. Plus, I have younger cousins whom I have babysat on occasions. I became a Childcare Provider because I love children and I love to watch them grow. In emergencies I think really quickly. I handle emergencies by first calling the parents if it is not life threatening and then call 911. If it is life threatening, I call 911 then the parents. I have a baby nursing certificate I am currently working on my CDA which stands for Child Development Associate. What that means is that I would be considered a preschool teacher. I love to read for myself and also to children who I care for. I also love to sing and the children I have cared for in the past love to hear me sing. I have cared for 3 boys at once, ages newborn to 5 years old. Currently caring for 3 girls:3-9.

Meloney has worked for our family for 3 years and she is absolutely lovely. She is good with newborns, toddlers and big kids. She is patient and confident and so very thoughtful. She is also creative, always thinking of projects and fun things to do with our girls. Our youngest daughter is starting school in September so our needs are changing.
