I have experience in taking care of the elderly as I did work with some agencies. However I feel that they are more interested in making money than the clients. Unfortunately my mother passed away due to complications with Alzheimer's and I was able to spend and take care of her during the last 6 yrs of her life. It was extremely hard with limited help available as it's very important for the family to step back and let someone else help. I understand trusting someone to leave their loved one with is difficult. You have to take some time for your own mental health as I learned this is extremely important to all parties involved in the care of loved ones. I'm also someone who loves animals and strongly believe they can help with the challenges our elderly face.
