About Melody

Hi! I'm a criminal justice student at High Point University with a passion for childcare that stemmed from positive babysitting experiences and a genuine desire to positively impact young lives while supporting families. Studying criminal justice has strengthened my responsibility, attentiveness, and calm under pressure qualities I bring to childcare. My experience caring for kids ages 1-12+ has equipped me to provide engaging, nurturing care for up to two children. I'm patient, creative, friendly, and comfortable enforcing household rules consistently. I provide regular updates via text or call, so you're always informed. I have some college education plus CPR and First Aid certifications. I enjoy outdoor games, sports, board games, and puzzles, and love keeping kids active rather than glued to screens. I have my own car, am comfortable with pets, and am happy to help with bedtime routines for evening sitting. I'm based near HPU's campus, easy to schedule with!
