About Melody

I'm the mother of three amazing, kind, and successful grown children. As a teen, I worked at my mother's daycare center. In college, I took early childhood and human growth and development classes. I've had many years of experience working as a para in Jefferson County schools when my children were in elementary school. I led a Destination Imagination group and helped with or coached many of my kids' team sports and activities. I believe in patience and kindness, in keeping kids mentally and physically active, in mostly being their guide but sometimes their leader. I think boundaries are important, as is working as a team. I believe nutrition plays a large component in mental and physical health. I've loved working for the past five years as a caregiver for seniors. I'm looking for a change of pace and would love the opportunity to care for your little one(s). I'm comfortable with all ages and can handle several kiddos at one time.
