About Melody

I'd describe my personality as reliable, organized, punctual, and self-motivated. I like working with kids because it is a joy to be a part of the care and early childhood development of a child! I have a degree in Psychology from the University of California Santa Cruz with Honors. During my studies, I have greatly enjoyed researching and learning about child development. I'm looking for a job that has commitment, open communication, and great connection. I started working with kids around May 2022. In my spare time, I like to take my dogs on walks, go to the dog beach, read a good book, walk around farmer's markets, make flower arrangements, and bake homemade treats. One thing you should know about me is that you will always have the peace of mind that I will put the best interests and safety your child first. My skills include caregiver to child connection, child redirecting, and organized activities.
