About Melody

I have four small grandchildren and three ( adult) children. They do not live nearby but I look forward to the times I can visit them some weekends! I am a former child protective services worker and retired from that career in 2020. I have been cleared through criminal and child abuse registries in New York and Texas. Several background checks have been conducted over the years for the type of employment I have had , and most recently massage therapy. I have time in my schedule and space in my heart to care for your loved ones ( including pets). I live my life with empathy , compassion and integrity with a true love of people and pets of all ages.

We were blessed to have Melody as our after-school caretaker for our two children in elementary and middle school. What started as a need for pick-up and drop-off to home, quickly became much more special. Our children respectfully refer to her as Ms. Melody. She arrived early each day, made thoughtful restroom stops and surprise visits to the library and local parks if weather permitted. Ms. Melody didn't just supervise; she truly engaged with our children's day and interests. We were never left wondering and were always informed of their conversations, school reminders, delays and detours, or how their day unfolded. If our schedules shifted in advance, Melody was flexible in our greatest times of need. We look forward to working with Melody again!
