About Melody

Nurturing children and watching them blossom is one of my greatest joys. I have over 20 years of experience caring for children aged newborn to 11, and I especially enjoy taking care of infants and toddlers and teaching preschoolers. My background in Early Childhood Education (ECE) and being the second oldest of 8 children has equipped me with the skills to create engaging and educational experiences through games, pretend play, puzzles, other activities. I believe in open communication with parents, providing daily reports, updates via text or phone call, and verbal communication. I appreciate and support parents who maintain a no-screen policy with their kids. I am also happy to assist with light housekeeping, driving, and preparing meals if asked ahead of time and expectations are clearly set. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I have a car and am comfortable with pets (within reason). For me, taking care of children is not just a job, it is a passion and a ministry.
