About Melody

Hello, my name is Melody! I'm currently a Varying Exceptionalities teacher at an elementary school, and I've been working with children since 2016. I started with occasional babysitting, and in 2017 I became a full-time teacher in an infant and toddler classroom in South Tampa, where I stayed until 2021. During that time, I earned my CDA, continued babysitting for various families, and became a nanny. One of my longest and most meaningful experiences was with a family of three children (ages 4 to 8), whom I cared for over five years. I'm currently with another wonderful family who is preparing to move out of state, so I'm looking for a new part-time position. I truly enjoy supporting children at every stage of their development. My teaching and caregiving style is child-led, and I focus on meeting each child where they are by using individualized tools that help them feel confident and supported.
