Experience: 17 yrs
I've worked with children nearly my entire life. I come from a very large family full of little ones and have learned to care for children from a young age. I've worked as a preschool substitute teacher, an elementary after school counselor, and a nanny for children ranging from newborns to teens. I now have my own little guy (5 months) and am looking for a position where I can bring him with me. I'm comfortable and have experience with animals as well as helping out with household tasks if needed. I tend to connect with children through my silly, playful personality. My love for all things creative helps me lead children into exploring nature, art, food, and their imaginations. I'm responsible and believe in maintaining a safe, stable environment for the child(ren). I studied child development for 2 years and was previously first aid and CPR certified.
We feel incredibly lucky to have had Melody as part of our family for five years. She has an amazing ability to connect with children in such a genuine, caring way, and she quickly became someone our kids trusted and adored. She is dependable, kind, patient, and truly a wonderful person overall. She always brought warmth, positivity, and a calm presence into our home. Any family would be so fortunate to have her, and we highly recommend her without hesitation.
