About Melody

Hi i'm Mel!! I'm 24 years old & have been working with kids since I was 12. I'd describe my personality as kind, playful & patient. I enjoy working with kids because they're so genuine & it means a lot to be someone they can trust & feel safe around. I'm open to working with all ages & personalities whether that's for short term or long term. In my spare time, I like to do arts & crafts, listen to music & spend time with my friends & family! My skills include patience, playfulness & I have experience with neurodivergent children. One thing you should know about me is I have ADHD myself, so I understand what it's like to think a little differently if a child happens to have ADHD or autism as well. I use that understanding to connect with kids who may need extra patience, structure or creativity. I know every child has their own rhythm & I don't mind figuring out what works best for them. I love helping kids feel seen, supported & safe while bringing positive energy to every home.
