About Melita

Growing up in Northern California, I surrounded myself with as many animals as our home would accommodate. A horse, a dog, cats, chickens, ducks, rabbits, birds and reptiles. As a teenager, I would accompany my mother on pet visits for her pet sitting service. With my sight set on attending UC Davis to become a veterinarian, I interned with a local veterinary practice over 2 summers. While I ended up graduating in Economics, my passion for connecting with animals has never waned. I now find myself at a stage in life where I can make my love of animals my vocation. I will care for your pet as if they were my very own. I make an effort to go beyond the language barrier and listen to what your pet is saying and respond to their needs. Being apart is difficult for both of you. I try to make things a little easier by truly caring for your pet and giving you piece of mind that they feel almost as loved as when they are by your side.
