About Melissa

Over the past 4 years, I have blessed to have the opportunity to work with kids with various special needs. I have worked inside and outside of the classroom setting. I worked as an Instructional Assistant in an SLE and ICAP classroom as well as behavior support for students in the general education setting. I built connections with parents and students that led me to in home tutoring. I worked in areas of need based on IEP goals and/or parents specific goals. Although I am not a certified teacher, I have taken on-going training as well as continuing courses to expand my knowledge. I am very passionate about working with kids and helping them grow.
