About Melissa

My personality is very caring, charming and up-beat. I like caring for seniors because my grandparents helped raise me and I was close with them. I've spent more than a decade helping seniors (and families ) It's very rewarding for me. I'd like a job that connects me with a senior in need of help/companionship and provide support to families. I cared for my grandparents between the ages of 16 and 27. I've been an administrator and marketing director in 2 senior living communities spanning a decade, and had private clients over the years. I have a passion for working with earlier/moderate dementia residents. In my spare time, I enjoy my local extended family. I like nature, live music, and local shops. One thing you should know is I don't think of helping seniors a job, I have a servants heart. I'm very dependable too. I have vast experience and expertise in Alzheimer's/dementia. I'm good at engagement/activities, and I love connecting with a variety of people and settings.
