Thank you for taking the time to consider me. I am an independent provider aide through the Dept of Developmental Disabilities. I have maintained my cert since 2014. I have CPR and First Aid certs and maintain Med certs 1 and 2 for general and g-tube care. Over the years it has been my focus to improve people's quality of life by being a competent and compassionate caregiver. I have been doing total care, that is -- personal care for people whose physical or developmental challenges make them unable to assist in dressing, bathing or bowel care-- since my first overnight shift at New Leaf Residential in 2011. I believe that kindness goes a long way and a good fit for me would be a person or family who wants a caregiver with a gentle touch. I have a lot of experience with seizure monitoring, medication administration, helping out with doctors appointments and getting people out and zooming around the community.
