About Melissa

Hi, I'm Melissa! I'm an experienced caregiver and CNA with a background in private-duty care, hospice, hospital Med/Surg, and skilled nursing. Over the years, I've cared for individuals with Alzheimer's/dementia, Parkinson's disease, cancer, and those needing end-of-life support. I truly enjoy getting to know the person I'm caring for and making each day a little easier and more enjoyable. Depending on someone's needs, that may mean assisting with personal care and daily activities, preparing meals, helping around the home, going to appointments or outings, or simply providing companionship and conversation. I've also supported clients as their needs progressed from companionship to more extensive hands-on and end-of-life care. I have worked with several private clients and their families. I am compassionate & patient. Most importantly, I believe the people I care for deserve to maintain their dignity, independence, routines, and personality, not simply have their basic needs met!
