About Melissa

Making a positive difference in the world is what drives me as a caregiver. My five plus years of experience in adult and senior care have solidified my passion for this work. Prior to being a caregiver, I served as a preschool teacher for 20 years which has helped me develop great patience and a relaxed personality. I understand the importance of respecting a person's independence and personal preferences. I am flexible, adapt easily to routine changes and have experience working with both women and men. In addition to providing care and companionship I enjoy cooking which many families have found to be a helpful bonus. I am also happy to assist with light housekeeping and running errands. I am also pretty handy with a snow shovel. I can be flexible with earlier start times or occasional overnights if needed, from February 16 through June 12th 2026.
