As a dedicated nanny with a focus on infants and toddlers, I find great joy in nurturing young minds through engaging activities like storytelling, library visits, and nature walks. My background in early childhood education and psychology, paired with my hands-on experience in both classroom and family settings, allows me to create a warm and stimulating environment where children can thrive. I am dedicated to fostering a love for learning and exploration, ensuring that each child feels valued and inspired to grow. I am willing to assist with child centered household tasks such as the child's laundry, bottle washing, and toy organization. Available starting September 2nd I'd love to come work with your family! Dependable, Kind, Nurturing, Adaptable, and Professional. We have been incredibly fortunate to have Melissa as our nanny for nearly four years, and I can say without hesitation that she has become an integral part of our family’s life. She began caring for both of our sons when they were just infants (around 4 months old), and since then, she has helped us navigate every stage of early childhood with love, consistency, and professionalism. Melissa is unbelievably reliable. The kind of person you never have to second-guess. She shows up every day with warmth, patience, and a steady presence that immediately puts both kids at ease. When our younger son was born, she seamlessly balanced caring for both boys together and adapted to a split schedule, managing solo infant care as well as energetic toddler play. No matter what the day requires, she handles it calmly and capably. One reliability anecdote to share (among countless) is the time she fought her way into work despite her car being iced in after an overnight blizzard at her overnight church camp location, which is more than an hour’s drive from our home. She let us know before we woke up that she was stuck, but instead of accepting that, she found people to help her dig out the car so she could be here for us. What really stands out about Melissa is not just the quality of her care, but the impact she has had on our children as people. Our boys are gentle, kind, curious, and happy, and we credit Melissa with helping to draw that out of them by modeling patience, empathy, and respect. Whether she’s engaging them in imaginative play, reading stories, guiding them through new milestones, or helping with routines, she is always intentional about nurturing both their hearts and minds. Melissa has also been a tremendous partner to us as parents. She communicates openly, offers thoughtful observations, and works with us to keep consistency between home and her care. We’ve always felt complete trust in her judgment, whether it’s about safety, learning, or the little day-to-day decisions that come up with young kids. Quite simply, Melissa is exceptional. She has been an integral part of our family, and any household would be incredibly lucky to have her.
