About Melissa

Hi - My name is Melissa, I'm 19 years old and. I've been working with kids since I was 14 and love it. I started by watching my siblings' children at ages as early as a couple of months, and then slowly began babysitting for kids in my neighborhood. In addition to this, throughout the past 5 years, I have worked as a youth advocate and administrative assistant for a local domestic violence shelter. Over the last few years, I've worked primarily with infants and toddlers, but I love kids of all ages. If it's nice out, I like to take the kids outside on walks, drives, or for picnics, but if not, I whip out my coloring and painting skills :) In my free time, I love hiking, spending time with family and friends, and going on nature drives.
