About Melissa

I'd describe my personality as caring, patient, flexible. I like working with kids because they are curious, energetic and love to learn! I'm looking for a job that is flexible and allows me to transfer my experience as an educator. I started working with kids when I was in high school! I have been a tutor, a camp counselor, a drama teacher and director, an assistant teacher, a kindergarten teacher, and an intervention teacher. I've worked in both general education and special education. In my spare time, I like to cook, hike and spend time with my 2 children. One thing you should know about me is that I've just moved to the area. I have access to a car, but I'm still learning my way around! I have a miniature poodle but I am allergic to cats, so I unfortunately, can't help inside a home with cats.
