About Melissa

I am currently transitioning from a professional healthcare provider to a career in early education and childcare. My graduate degree, along with coursework in Early Child Development, has given me a strong educational foundation. My background also includes over 10 years of experience caring for children of all ages and 5+ years functioning as a mentor and tutor while working with after school programs in the Tri-state area. I am passionate about supporting children's growth, development, and well-being. I am patient, calm, friendly, and approachable, and I enjoy engaging children through play-outdoor and/or indoor activities. I am First Aid and CPR certified and comfortable caring for one or two children and supervising activities such as swimming and in the playground. Providing dependable, nurturing childcare for families is very important to me, and I welcome the opportunity to assist in caring for your little one(s). I look forward to connecting with you soon!
