About Melissa

Hi! I'm Melissa! A dedicated school counselor with a Master's in Educational Counseling and years of experience working with children from K-12. I bring a calm, supportive presence and a strong background in Social Emotional Learning, academic support, and child development. In my current role, I work one-on-one with children, helping them build confidence, cope with big emotions, and reach their full potential. I've worked as an academic tutor, so I'm happy to help with homework or keep kids on track with reading, writing, and math skills. I understand how to connect with children at every developmental stage, whether they need structure, patience, or just a safe adult to talk to. Whether your child needs after-school care, a reliable sitter for evenings, or someone to help them stay emotionally regulated and academically supported, I bring heart, professionalism, and a genuine love for working with kids. I love to cook and be around the kitchen and have a a clean driving record.
