About Melissa

After 14 years in the insurance industry, I made the leap into an entirely different career path, and decided to follow my heart. The past two years have been the most fulfilling in my professional life, and personally. I began my caregiving career with in-home healthcare through an agency, before being approached to work for a family privately. I had the honor of working for one of the kindest people I have ever met, and worked alongside him until he passed in July of 2025. I worked an average of 65 hours weekly, providing companionship, meal prep, driving him to weekly doctor's appointments, as well as personal care and bathing. I also have hospice experience and am able to provide care for individuals who are at end-of-life. I am available 5 days a week at this time, and am open to day shifts, night shifts, overnights and weekends. I have a list of wonderful references and am happy to answer any additional questions.
