About Melissa

After 14 years in the insurance industry, I took the leap into an entirely different career path, and decided to follow my heart. The past three years have been the most fulfilling in my professional life. I began caregiving through an agency before being approached to work for a family privately. I had the honor of working for one of the kindest people I've ever met, and cared for him for 1. 5 years until his passing. I'm currently on a temporary hybrid work schedule, as I have just moved from San Luis Obispo to Castaic. I've been caring for a sweet man living with Alzheimer's for the last year. I'll be available 4 days a week for daytime shifts beginning August 10th. Additionally, I have experience with paraplegic care and seniors with autism. l have hospice experience as well, and am able to provide end-of-life care.
