About Melissa

I am a 26 year veteran teacher with Revere Public Schools. I am a general education teacher with certification at the elementary level (1-6). I presently teach 3rd Grade in an inclusion classroom that includes students on both IEPs and on the autism spectrum. I teach all subjects. I previously taught Grades 8, 5 and 3. I also have extensive basketball coaching experience. I'd describe my personality as outgoing, confident and humorous. I like tutoring because I enjoy watching students feel confident in their learning. I'm looking for a job that allows me to work a flexible schedule with students who are motivated to do well. In my spare time, I like to watch my daughter play sports, spend time at the beach, and enjoy time with my family. One thing you should know about me is that your child will show significant improvement after my tutoring sessions. My skills include showing students multiple learning strategies and providing a comfortable environment.
