I am a former homeschool educator with more than 25 years of experience helping students build confidence, independence, and academic success. In addition to homeschooling my own five children, I have supported families through homeschooling, virtual learning, tutoring, and academic coaching. Three of my children graduated high school early with honors. I have also homeschooled students with special needs and have experience supporting learners with ADHD, autism, executive functioning challenges, and diverse learning styles. Prior to moving to Las Vegas, I owned an academic coaching business where I helped middle and high school students improve organization, study skills, time management, and academic performance. Families appreciate my ability to connect with students, identify obstacles to learning, and develop practical strategies that lead to real progress. Melissa worked with my son during his sophomore year of high school, helping him develop executive functioning skills, manage his schedule, and stay on track academically. My son has ASD and ADHD, and Melissa was incredibly organized, patient, and encouraging. She had a wonderful ability to keep him focused and motivated while providing the structure and support he needed to succeed. Melissa is caring, professional, dependable, and flexible. She was always conscientious about being on time and accommodating scheduling needs. Beyond tutoring, there were occasions when I entrusted her to take my son out for meals or activities, such as going to the movies. I felt completely comfortable with her in those situations, knowing she was responsible, capable, and genuinely invested in his well-being. Melissa is a positive role model and a pleasure to be around.
