About Melissa

My experience with children started at home. I come from a family of 8 kids, and I am the second to youngest, and have grown up loving to be around children of all ages. I currently have 30 nieces and nephews, as you can imagine I'm always the go to babysitter and I have loved caring for them and watching them grow. With that experience, I quickly became a very busy sitter amongst my families friends. I grew up in a church community where I became a youth leader and camp counselor. I was active in those roles for about 10 years. I am a self taught baker and cake artist. I've worked in a few different bakeries where I've gained a lot of experience of how to run a business. My goal and ideal situation is to have some stable income while also having some time to dedicate to my craft. Caring for children has always been second nature for me and a personal joy, I hope to find the right family to support.
