About Melissa

My experience with children started at home. I come from a family of 8 kids, and I am the second to youngest, and have grown up loving to be around children of all ages. I have been baby-sitting since I was 11 years old. I currently have 30 nieces and nephews, as you can imagine I was always the go to babysitter and I have loved caring for them and watching them grow. With that experience, I quickly became a very busy sitter amongst my community and it flowed steadily by word of mouth and have met some really awesome families I grew to love. I grew up in a church community where I became a youth leader and camp counselor. Have been to many summer camps and outings where I have supervised and lead many of them, camps 3rd grade-high school. I have been a nanny for two different families. Once short term for one little boy part time. Another long term for three(4 yrs, 2 yrs, and 5 weeks old). I am also CPR/First Aid certified.
