About Melissa

I began my career as an In-Home Health Aide, assisting clients with dressing, meals, medication management, errands, and appointments. This work showed me how fulfilling it is to care for those who can't care for themselves. I went on to earn my Psychiatric Technician certification in college and became a licensed Psychiatric Technician, working over 10 years in a hospital setting. There, I developed strong nursing skills including medication administration, wound care, catheter care, and feeding support. My training focused heavily on geriatric care, and I've worked in both skilled nursing facilities and retirement homes. I'm well-versed in the physical and mental health challenges older adults face. After stepping back to raise my children, I'm ready to return to caregiving-reliable, compassionate, and deeply respectful of the elderly. I am CPR and First Aid trained.
