I honestly have not had any experience getting to care for special needs children but I had a friend from college who had Asperger's syndrome. I also took a college class on teaching children with various special needs. I have a special place in my heart for those children. I know they are "different" but their life is just as precious and important as any other child and I would love the chance to contribute my time and energy in watching over & caring for such a special child.
