My specialty is newborn thru preschool and twins. Sleep training, weaning, introducing solids, and potty training. I am a playmate and mentor as well as a source of love and nurturing. I do insist upon good respectful behavior and being mindful of ourselves and the world around us. Especially when out in public. It's how we stay safe. I am looking for families that want to have an open and direct dialogue around the care and development of there little ones. I come to the table with a true caring of children and assisting them in becoming their best. I observe their play and interactions with siblings, peers and even interactions with adults showing them how to navigate the world socially. I come with excellent references, a reliable vehicle, and an upbeat personality. I am great with pets, love the outdoors, exploring, and "field" trips! Ideally looking for two families for a nanny share in August! But open to solo care as well!

Melissa (Violet) helped us greatly with our first child, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to new parents! I can't recommend her enough. Violet has watched over our friends' children, and their friends's children since. We can't recommend her enough!

Melissa (Violet) has been caring for my daughter and another family's son together in a share since they were just under 6 months old.  She will stay with us until my daughter starts daycare after she turns 1. We would love to keep her longer if it worked for us financially!  She brings fun, loving energy to the kiddos every day, and as a first time mom, she has been a great resource for me with her depth of experience nannying this age range for 20+ years.  My daughter has been very challenging and head strong with resisting both naps and night sleep, and Violet has had so much patience with the whole process. Happy to say at 10 months we are finally in pretty good groove. My daughter is genuinely happy to see Violet when she arrives in the morning, and since they are at my house I get to see glimpses of the hands on developmental play that they are doing together throughout the day.  She handles two little ones very well. We will miss her so much and keep her in our orbit once we start daycare. The next families to work with her will be super lucky! 

Violet was the nanny to our son from 6 months- 1 year and I affectionately refer to her as “super nanny”. She is incredibly experienced (but not overbearing) and very easy to get along with.  My son has such a sweet loving bond with her. She has a very warm and mellow demeanor, and connects easily with kids. Our boy was incredibly fussy and refused bottles for a period of time and I was very impressed by Violet’s patience, positivity, and communication skills as we navigated that stage -I dont think another nanny could have done it. We were part of a nannyshare and she did an impressive job caring for both kids as it was very demanding - she truly is a pro! Violet is very experienced with baby/kid development and offered age appropriate play, activities, and outings - they had so much fun together. We were incredibly lucky to have her as our nanny.

Melissa (Violet) is an incredible caregiver and a lovely person. She started caring for our youngest daughter when she was 9 months old and stayed with us through the start of pre-school. We feel lucky to have had her as a part of our care team and family, and were so sad to let her go. Melissa (Violet) is amazing. She has been our nanny for years, and still regularly watches our children as they grow into school age. She was our first nanny during COVID. I learned so much from her about raising children - in particular about communicating with toddlers, as well as teaching children emotional regulation and resiliency. Violet worked for us for over 2 years. She was incredibly dependable, punctual, and flexible- we often asked her to stay late or cover extra days and she worked hard to help us do so. She cares very much about her job as your child's teacher and it shows in the thought she puts into activities with "her" kids and the attention she pays to their development.

Melissa was incredibly valuable in her role as a nanny for my infant twin sons and five year old daughter. She is great with kids - loving but firm.  Our daughter adores her.  She watched our daughter multiple times as well including as fill in nanny, babysitter and overnight caregiver. Melissa was our nanny from right after our second daughter was born until 3 years old. Her dedication and love for our family was unmatched. If she wasn't leaving the area, she would still be working for us! Missy worked with us during our stay in San Jose California, summer 2015. During our initial interview with Missy, She was very open, easy to talk to and shared her work experiences. It was during that conversation that there was something special about her. We had an instant connection and I especially liked her analytical approach to the deep understanding of child development and her research and experience to support it. At the time Missy worked with us my older daughter was 4 (turning 5) and the baby was turning 1.  She was fantastic with the girls, she was firm and fair with my oldest which produced great outcome in her behavior.  With the baby, she helped introduce various healthy foods and got her interactive with other kids during their outings at the park or malls. She even got her sleep trained in two days!!! She never imposed her suggestions on me, she would ask, I was always open to hear her thoughts or suggestions. She knows her stuff! Prior to beginning the sleep training she explained the process, so there was no shock at any point. A baby that can go down by themselves, which frees up more time for Mom, is life changing. She helped facilitate a daily schedule that was suitable for both girls which included; meals prep, feedings, naps, workbook/reading sessions, field trips to various parks.  She was always willing to go above and beyond and would help with laundry, load/unload the dishwasher, run errands to help me out (grocery, dry-cleaning etc.) I worked from home most of the time and it was amazing to see all her in action. When I would have overnight business trips, she held it down from the sunrise to bedtime. My husband would come home after a 12 hours day to clean kids who were fed and ready for bed (if not already in bed) and a clean house. I always had peace of mind, she would send me great pictures of the girls throughout the day and my oldest always had great stories to share with me about their adventures. She was always anxious for Ms. Missy to come back. I only have wonderful things to say about Missy. She has opened my eyes in many ways and far exceeded my ridiculously high expectation.  She is the real Super Nanny, a genuine and loving person that I'm glad that I can also can call her a friend.
