My specialty is newborn thru preschool and twins. Sleep training, weaning, introducing solids, and potty training. I am a playmate and mentor as well as a source of love and nurturing. I do insist upon good respectful behavior and being mindful of ourselves and the world around us. Especially when out in public. It's how we stay safe. I am looking for families that want to have an open and direct dialogue around the care and development of there little ones. I come to the table with a true caring of children and assisting them in becoming their best. I observe their play and interactions with siblings, peers and even interactions with adults showing them how to navigate the world socially. I come with excellent references, a reliable vehicle, and an upbeat personality. I am great with pets, love the outdoors, exploring, and "field" trips!

Melissa (Violet) was the nanny for our daughter for 2 years. She was absolutely amazing. She is incredible with our daughter helping her not only feel loved and safe, but also learning to grow as a person. Violet taught us all about various developmental milestones for kids often after or on the way to helping them achieve them in a safe and nurturing way. Violet is a true professional - incredible communicator so that you can rely on her while balancing the many other challenges of life/parenthood. We are still lucky enough to have her from time to time and consider her a real part of our family (she brings an extended family of the many local kids she has watched too - which is an awesome group to be a part of). Cannot recommend her highly enough. 

Violet worked for us for over 2 years. She was incredibly dependable, punctual, and flexible- we often asked her to stay late or cover extra days and she worked hard to help us do so. She cares very much about her job as your child's teacher and it shows in the thought she puts into activities with "her" kids and the attention she pays to their development.

Melissa was incredibly valuable in her role as a nanny for my infant twin sons and five year old daughter. Melissa was our nanny from right after our second daughter was born until 3 years old. Her dedication and love for our family was unmatched. If she wasn't leaving the area, she would still be working for us! Her knowledge of stages and behavior helped us immensely with the milestones and her organization and preparation helped take the stress off for a very busy mom and family. Melissa (Violet) helped us out during a family emergency and we couldn't have done it without her!! She worked with her other families and rearranged her own personal scheduling to accommodate taking care of my young son for a two month period. I am so thankful for the time they spent together learning, playing, and growing during our hard time. 

She was our part-time nanny for a few years and I don't know what I would have done without her!  We have 3 boys, now 13, 11 and 11. 

Missy worked with us during our stay in San Jose California, summer 2015. During our initial interview with Missy, She was very open, easy to talk to and shared her work experiences. It was during that conversation that there was something special about her. We had an instant connection and I especially liked her analytical approach to the deep understanding of child development and her research and experience to support it. At the time Missy worked with us my older daughter was 4 (turning 5) and the baby was turning 1.  She was fantastic with the girls, she was firm and fair with my oldest which produced great outcome in her behavior.  With the baby, she helped introduce various healthy foods and got her interactive with other kids during their outings at the park or malls. She even got her sleep trained in two days!!! She never imposed her suggestions on me, she would ask, I was always open to hear her thoughts or suggestions. She knows her stuff! Prior to beginning the sleep training she explained the process, so there was no shock at any point. A baby that can go down by themselves, which frees up more time for Mom, is life changing. She helped facilitate a daily schedule that was suitable for both girls which included; meals prep, feedings, naps, workbook/reading sessions, field trips to various parks.  She was always willing to go above and beyond and would help with laundry, load/unload the dishwasher, run errands to help me out (grocery, dry-cleaning etc.) I worked from home most of the time and it was amazing to see all her in action. When I would have overnight business trips, she held it down from the sunrise to bedtime. My husband would come home after a 12 hours day to clean kids who were fed and ready for bed (if not already in bed) and a clean house. I always had peace of mind, she would send me great pictures of the girls throughout the day and my oldest always had great stories to share with me about their adventures. She was always anxious for Ms. Missy to come back. I only have wonderful things to say about Missy. She has opened my eyes in many ways and far exceeded my ridiculously high expectation.  She is the real Super Nanny, a genuine and loving person that I'm glad that I can also can call her a friend.

Melissa came to work with our family a few weeks before my twins were born.  She fit right in and knew just how to be super helpful and calm.  When we came home from the hospital she managed two new babies with ease and such a loving touch, we adore her.  The babies are four months old now and Melissa will be our full time nanny as I go back to work.  She is dedicated, articulate, communicates very well and is just so good with the kids.  We consider ourselves very lucky to have found her.  You really can't find a better caregiver.

Melissa has been my after school nanny for about 2 years and full-time nanny in the summer. I hired her immediately after meeting with her and witnessing the positive interaction she had with my children. 

We are very fortunate to have Melissa! She is fun with the kids and has a great work ethic. She provides good care for my children, is reliable, and always punctual. She is very responsive in letting me know her availability well in advance so I can plan accordingly. Melissa is very cooperative and does everything I ask in caring for my children. She is an extension of me and my husband in discipline and structure, and we truly trust her to make the best decisions for my children when we are not around.
