About Melissa

Hello I'm Melissa! I'm a patient and compassionate caregiver with extensive experience supporting kids as they develop physically, emotionally, socially, and academically. I have worked closely with autistic, special needs, and nonverbal children. I approach every child with gentleness, understanding, and patience that helps them feel safe. I am looking for enough hours for this to be my primary job, and would love to build a long-term relationship with one family who I can work with consistently and wholeheartedly. I prefer caring for one child at a time so I can give my full attention, but I am open to more if it is a good fit. You can count on solid attendance because I do not have children of my own. All of my children have four legs, so I am good with pets as well. I truly look forward to meeting the right family, and I pray that God connects me with the home I'm meant to be a part of.
