About Melissa

Caring for children has been a lifelong love of mine. At this point in my life, having raised 2 children of my own, I am mostly looking to care for newborns through age 2. I am patient, calm, friendly, and approachable. I love being a calm presence for little ones to help them feel secure enough to learn about the world around them. I was a web application developer for 15 years prior to having to children, and I also used to work as a birth doula. If you are expecting a baby, or have a newborn, I'd love to help you with overnight care! I am comfortable caring for one child, though I have nannied for triplets. Over the past several years, I have cared for children with seizures, feeding tubes, and a variety of medical needs. I have a car and am comfortable with pets.
