This might sound dramatic, but Melissa literally changed our lives. After 6 months of unreliable childcare in a nanny share (people quitting unexpectedly), we found Melissa. She is a true professional-along with being nurturing, patient, and exceedingly knowledgeable about how to care for young children with all kinds of needs. We started taking our son to Melissa when he was about a year old and he has thrived ever since. She's worked with him and us as he's gone through developmental periods of being extra feisty and strong-willed. She worked with him as he was going through food therapy to help get him eating solid foods. She has taught him skills like cleaning. up, sign language, and sharing. I 100% trust to Melissa to keep my child safe, and so much more. I've watched my son blossom into a walking, talking (so much talking), funny, awesome little kid in the last 7 months. She's a truly wonderful childcare provider, and honestly just a wonderful person.
