I am a recent graduate from the University of New Hampshire looking for a part or full time position before beginning my internship at Boston Children's Hospital. I graduated with a BS in Therapeutic Recreation and a minor in Spanish. I have taken classes in child & human development, psychology, mental health, recreation services for individuals with disabilities, therapeutic play, etc. I have worked as a clinical lab student at TREK (Therapeutic Recreation Empowering Kids) where I provided treatment for adolescents with developmental disabilities and kids on the autism spectrum. I have volunteered for Northeast Passage's Power Soccer Team where I worked with kids and adults in power wheel chairs. I am also adult & pediatric CPR, first aid, and AED certified. Regardless of ability, I am a firm believer that all children deserve the highest quality of life especially through the use of play and other recreational activities!
