I was very big on baby wearing and hands-on mothering/attachment parenting in my own family and would extend the same type of nurturing to your little one(s). I don't believe in cry-it-out, and I really strive for a connected relationship in this nanny role, as I see it as an extension of family and it benefits everyone. I enjoy nature, reading and playing alongside little ones---I know keeping them engaged is essential for healthy development! In this modern fast paced reality I strive to keep little ones off of screens and engaged in their world around them. I have been a vegan chef for 23 years, and throughout that, I've always helped friends and family with their kids. I'm currently in transition in my professional life and I'm craving an opportunity where I'd have a more meaningful/connective experience. I'm also a trained birth and post partum doula.

Mel is the most wonderful and kind hearted nanny we could have hoped for. She showed genuine love and concern for us and for our infant daughter. She was great at keeping our infant stimulated (for instance via walks and baby gym time) and also great at getting her to nap. She has great tips for new moms. And you should taste her home baked scones. They're delicious. Hire Mel. You won't regret it.
