Melissa took care of both of my parents for two months, and then my dad for another year, working both daytime and overnight shifts. She is a very kind, compassionate person who took excellent care of my parents. She’s trustworthy, conscientious and reliable. I had very specific things I wanted done during each shift and Melissa took care of everything essential (medication assistance, exercises, meal prep, light cleaning and laundry) and also provided warm companionship. I especially appreciate how patient she was spending time talking with my parents and helping my dad with his jigsaw puzzles. It was a comfort to everyone in my family to have Melissa as part of our care team so that my parents could safely stay their entire lives in the only home they had ever lived in together. I highly recommend Melissa as a caregiver and would be glad to provide a more detailed reference for her.
