If something is not right I would let the owner know. We have had 3 long term dogs and I kept my mother in laws dog when she was not able to care for her anymore. I understand elderly dogs that have trouble seeing and hearing and we have dealt with end of bd life issues with our dogs. I believe in keeping dogs as healthy as they can be so they can live long.
