About Melissa

I am a mom of two children, 17 & 11. I have spent the last four years working in my local school district as a special needs paraprofessional where I have learned patience, communication, and active listening skills amongst others. I have worked with children who have Apraxia, Down Syndrome, Autism, dyslexia, and other learning abilities. I have a passion for helping children to become the best person they can be in the best way for them. I also served on my local youth rec sports league as a coach and eventually the director of the program.
