About Melissa

Hi there! I am looking for a part-time (or possible full-time) babysitting/nannying. I have a bachelors degree in Recreational Therapy from GVSU and currently work as a Recreational Therapist in the mental health field. I have a passion for working with children and was a camp counselor for several summers during college. I interacted with as many as 20 kids a week ranging from 5-year-olds to 18-year-olds, participating in activities and engaging in conversations with them. It was such a great experience which sparked my interest in working with children. I have also worked as a day camp and overnight camp counselor for kids and adults with special needs. In this position, I assisted participants with feeding and changing needs as well as engaging them in fun activities!
