About Melissa

Hello! My name is Missy, and I'm excited to offer childcare services to families in need this summer. I'm currently looking for a full-time position, ideally between 35-40 hours per week. I'm 21 years old and based in Charlestown. I have over 8 years of paid childcare experience, including 2 years working in daycare centers as an assistant teacher. I currently work as an after-school teacher at Buckingham Browne & Nichols, and I'm certified in First Aid and CPR. I'm comfortable caring for children of all ages and am happy to work in homes with pets! I started babysitting at age 12 and have always felt drawn to working with kids. I love teaching, supporting, and caring for them. I'll be graduating from Lesley University this May and continuing on to earn my Master's degree in School Counseling.
