Hi there! I am currently a part-time nanny. Babies and toddlers are my favorite: so sweet & cuddly! Everything is new and exciting and I love helping them learn and grow. :o)

A bit about me: I have my Bachelor's degree. I was a stay-at-home mom with kiddos who are 16, 18 & 20. Since they are big, I'd love to come and spend quality time taking care of your little love.

In addition to my current nanny roles, I most recently was a nanny for 7 different families, starting ages: 4 weeks, 5 weeks, 2-mo, 3-mo, 3-mo, 7-mo & 8-mo.

I have also worked in a preschool for 3 years with 2, 3 & 4-yr olds.

I am an active nanny & some things I enjoy doing with children is baby sign language, playing, reading, stroller walks, playground, swinging, playing outside, bubbles, chalk, dancing, singing, baking, library, gym/music classes & more.

Infant/Child CPR & First Aid certified. Criminal and MVR Background checked. Non-smoker. Own a 2026 SUV.

I simply cannot say enough great things about Melissa! She spent a day a week with my daughter from 1-2 years old before my daughter started school. My daughter can be a bit shy, but she gets so excited when I say Melissa is coming, she runs to the door to greet her, and then is like "ok, go away Mom, we've got things to do!" I always feel like I'm leaving my daughter in great hands - Melissa truly cares about her, I get pictures and updates while I'm gone, all her toys and things are better organized when I get home than they were when I left, and she's been just a delight for me to get to know as well.  She's communicative, punctual, reliable, and truly just the best. I highly highly highly recommend her!

Our family had a wonderful experience with Melissa. So much so, we wished she could have moved across states with us. Our baby, who was about 7 months old when she started caring for him was so attached to her. She is so nurturing and loving. It was easy leaving him with her. We also appreciated the regular check-ins, pictures and all the things she taught him, including sign language. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Melissa. She was a true blessing to our family!  We miss her so much. 

As a first-time mom going back to work, I was really nervous about leaving my new baby with someone new. My husband and I found Melissa and she has been an EXCEPTIONAL nanny to our little one. Our daughter fell in love with Melissa right away! Before hiring her, Melissa came to our home to meet us and our baby, who was a little fussy that day. As soon as Melissa held her, she immediately stopped crying. That's when we knew that she was a special person who is a natural with little ones. Each day Melissa comes to our home, our baby's eyes light up and she makes the biggest smile. While leaving your baby is always hard, knowing that she's happy makes a huge difference. Melissa reads books, sings songs, practices milestones, and brings a fun "bag of tricks' with her to our home for our baby to play with. I have seen growth in my baby's fine motor, gross motor, and communication skills since she has been with Melissa. I am extremely sad that we are moving from the area and will no longer have her as a part of our baby's life, but I am so grateful that we have been able to have the opportunity to work with her! I HIGHLY recommend working with Melissa.  

Melissa “Missy” is truly the best. She started when our first child was 18 months and she immediately made us feel comfortable. Our son who is usually shy with new people took to her instantly. While Missy was with us, our second child was born prematurely and she was fantastic with her as well. We had absolutely no concerns leaving our kids with her. Missy is kind, patient, and communicative and became a part of our family. Anyone is lucky to have her!

Melissa has cared for our son since he was 3 months old. We feel so lucky to have connected with her! She is engaging, warm, and our son is completely at ease with her. Not to mention she is always punctual, attentive, and incredibly communicative. We could go on and on about how excellent she is at what she does! 

Absolutely amazing nanny! As new parents, Melissa is the best thing we could have ever hoped for when we started looking for a nanny to watch our three month old son. She took care of our little guy every Monday and Friday while both of us worked from home. She was so wonderful with him right from the beginning - it’s always a good sign when the nanny walks in the door and both she and your child have their arms out for each other! She is so incredibly engaged with him throughout the day. They go on walks in the neighborhood, read books in the nursery, or play in the living room. Melissa brings her own mat and new (clean!) toys every day to keep the baby interested. I’ll sometimes hear them playing or singing from my home office and it’s so sweet and comforting knowing he’s being so well taken care of. I literally can’t say enough great things about Melissa! Any family would be lucky to have her and we are so sad to be leaving her behind when we move!

Melissa was an absolutely amazing nanny for our daughter, Josephine, who grew from a one year old to a two year old while in her care. Every day Josie spent with Melissa was a joy, filled with learning through play, trips to fun places like the playground and toddler gym, and lots of personal attention. Josie has grown into a smart, sweet, vibrant little girl, and in no small part we have Melissa to thank for it. We would absolutely hire her again and wholeheartedly recommend her as a nanny.

Melissa watched my son on Fridays for 6 months. She was an amazing nanny. My son, who went through some stranger danger phases, always loved seeing Melissa. She took such great care of him but also brought him new toys to play with, sang lots of songs, took lots of walks, and always had him smiling. She was always on time and also flexible when we were going out of town. Would absolutely hire her again!

Melissa has been helping nanny my 7 week old baby and also babysit both my infant and 3 year old. My toddler who is normally shy and quiet LOVED Melissa right away. He normally cries when we leave for date night but not with Melissa! She is great with my kids and incorporates learning during playing as well, so glad we connected on care.com, she is fantastic!

Melissa is professional in all her communication, and has a wonderful calmness about her that our 16-month old took to instantly, and is an amazingly considerate person. She set the bar for us on provider quality. Our son adored meeting and playing with her and we can't wait to have her back.

Melissa was phenomenal with our kids, ages 2 and 5. She helped out on an unexpected snow day. She brought her own cookie dough! Obviously, the kids had a blast, and I'd hire her again in a second.

Melissa recently watched our 5 month old while we hosted a celebration with friends at home. She was warm and engaging, and came prepared with books and toys. Our daughter took to her right away! Melissa also confirmed with us several days in advance and showed up a few minutes early, helping to alleviate any stress on our end. We look forward to hiring her again!

This was the first time we've gone out without our son and he's not stayed with family or friends. While I was out, friends keep asking if I was worried but I never had a moment of concern.  I felt completely comfortable with Melissa taking care of him. She even sent a super cute picture! Our son has continually asked to have her come over again and was heartbroken she wouldn't be sitting for him the very next day too.

Melissa watched my 4 year old daughter on late notice and she was fantastic! She brought tons of crafts and sent me updates on what they were doing.

Melissa was such a great sitter for our 4 year old son.  She was punctual, and professional.  She arrived with activities planned during the day, and our boy soon was quite entertained by her.  I would recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter.

Melissa was excellent! She watched our 1-year old and 3-year old while we were in town visiting. She brought a couple bags of toys which they loved, fed them, and got them ready for bed/in bed, which is not always easy! She was easy to communicate with and helped us feel comfortable. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Melissa came to the rescue extremely last minute when our scheduled sitter didn't show up. She was fantastic with my 2 month old, sent me pictures and left us a note letting us know when she napped and ate. We were so lucky she was available to work with us!

Melissa was amazing! My son loved spending time with her. She brought many activities and got him to play outside. She cleaned up after him and kept him busy all day. She even did some math lessons with him, because we are home-schooling him. She went above and beyond, and my son and I loved her!
