About Melissa

As a mom myself, I am aware of how difficult it may be to leave your little ones with someone new. I promise to love and care for them as I would my own. I am a certified elementary education teacher and mom of three girls (15, 18 and 21). I have eight years of paid experience, but invaluable experience and intuition only a mom can provide. In college I worked at a daycare with ages ranging from birth to age 12. I then had the pleasure of staying home with my children and substitute teaching at their elementary and intermediate school. Most recently I have been a nanny for infants ages newborn to eight months. I enjoy engaging children in crafts, physical activity or snuggling up to a good book. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I also have up-to-date clearances. Lastly, I am happy to help with laundry, light housekeeping, meal prep, errands or any other household needs. My rate is negotiable based on circumstances.
