About Melissa

As a nurturing and experienced childcare provider with 16 years in the field, I am passionate about fostering children's growth and development. My patient and calm nature allows me to create a nurturing environment where children feel safe and supported. I am also creative and imaginative, always finding fun and educational ways to engage children in play. I believe in open communication with parents and follow their preferred method, whether it be verbal updates at pickup or written reports. I am comfortable enforcing household rules as established by the parents and believe in consistency and positive reinforcement. I enjoy playing a variety of games with children, including outdoor sports, board games, and educational games that promote learning. My diverse skills include First Aid Training, CPR Training, experience with special needs children, and being a Certified Nursing Assistant. I am also comfortable with pets and willing to help with cooking and meal preparation.
