About Melissa

My name is Melissa. I'm a Registered Nurse currently working full time in the hospital setting and offering part-time private home care assistance on the side. I live in Barnegat and I'm currently in school finishing my BSN and will continue on for my Masters in Nursing Education. I'm available around my nursing schedule for companionship, medication reminders, wellness monitoring, post-hospital support, basic care assistance, and helping clients remain safe and comfortable at home. I have experience caring for medically complex adults, patients with mobility limitations, memory issues, and those needing additional support after hospitalization. I'm also very experienced in hospice and end-of-life care, which is something I'm especially passionate about. I believe in providing compassionate, respectful care while also supporting families during difficult times. I'm dependable, easy to communicate with, and available for middle of the night phone calls or urgent check-ins if needed.
