About Melissa

Hi! My name is Melissa, and I'm currently a student at California State University San Marcos. My hometown is Folsom, just outside of Sacramento in Northern California. I've always loved working with children and have several years of childcare experience. I previously worked as a swim instructor at the Steve Miklos Aquatic Center, where I taught children of all ages water safety and swimming skills. I've also been a nanny for three different families over the past three summers, helping with meals, homework, transportation, and planning fun activities. I'm patient, dependable, organized, and caring. In my free time, I enjoy going to the beach, hiking, baking, arts and crafts, and spending time with friends and family. I love creating a fun, safe, and positive environment where children feel comfortable, supported, and excited to learn and play
