I was with my last family for 6 years and started with them when both their babies were 8 weeks old. We have also done Foster Care and had 14 children in and out of our home. We strive to make an impact on them when in my care and always love them and treat them as if they were my own. I just wanted to inform inquiring employers that Melissa H. had agreed to work as my nanny almost two months ago, with the start date being approximately three weeks from now. Today, I received a phone call from her, stating that she has accepted another job, leaving me only a few weeks to search and interview other nannies. This short notice is certainly an unfortunate inconvenience and the past two months have been time wasted (thinking the position had been filled), which could have been spent on finding another nanny, had she only been honest and direct with me from the beginning. Perhaps something in writing may be a future suggestion.....
