About Melissa G

Hi there! My name is Melissa! I am an aunt, an animal lover, and adore working with kids. I have experience working with children aged from 6months-13 years. I am grateful for the variety of childcare opportunities I have experienced because it has allowed me to cultivate many meaningful relationships with both children and parents. My style of care includes lots of safe play in and outdoors (weather permitting), arts and crafts, sports, yoga/meditation breaks, dance parties, impromptu karaoke, nutritious snack/meal times. As well as gentle redirection and teaching children safe and fun ways to build their confidence/ age appropriate independence. I also recently recertified with American Red Cross in CPR/First Aid/AED training and their Basic Babysitting course. Thank you for reading a bit about me!
