Hello! I am currently a nanny to a sweet little girl, and the family is moving in June. I also have a 2-year-old little boy of my own, but he will be in daycare the days that I would potentially work for you. I worked with The International Day School of Houston as a teacher for ages 4 months to 24 months, and I also worked with the other teachers and children up to age 5; I feel very comfortable working with little ones and helping them develop in a very positive setting. I made my way through college watching 3 beautiful kids for a very loving and healthy family and going for my Bachelors in Human and Family development. I am a non smoker, and I have my own vehicle. I love creating arts and crafts, eating and creating healthy food, and making sure we are in a clean, safe, and beautiful environment. I am CPR certified and SIDS trained. I love art and playing music. I would love the opportunity to work with your family.
I am so happy to recommend Melsy who cared for my daughter, R, from 3 to 7 months old. Those early months are such a tender, formative time, and having Melsy by our side brought us an incredible sense of comfort, trust, and peace of mind. From the very beginning, it was clear how naturally nurturing she is. She cares for Ronan with the same attentiveness, warmth, and intuition you would expect from someone caring for their own child. As a parent, there is nothing more reassuring than knowing your baby is not just being watched but truly cared for—and that is exactly what she provides. R absolutely adores her. The moment she walks in, R lights up with the biggest smiles, which speaks volumes about the bond they’ve built. Melsy is incredibly engaging—she sings to R, talks to her throughout the day, and creates such a loving, stimulating environment that supports both emotional and developmental growth. She is also very knowledgeable about infant development and milestones. During her time with us, she was always attentive to R’s evolving needs—whether it was supporting tummy time, encouraging early motor skills, or adjusting routines as sleep and feeding patterns changed. Babies grow and change so quickly, and Melsy adapts seamlessly, always meeting R exactly where she is. Beyond her nurturing nature, she is dependable, communicative, and highly attentive to detail. She maintains routines while remaining flexible, keeps a close eye on feeding and sleep cues, and ensures a safe, clean, and calm environment always. She is proactive, thoughtful, and consistently goes above and beyond. It has truly been such a gift to have Melsy caring for R during this special stage of her life. Any family would be incredibly lucky to have her, and I recommend her wholeheartedly and without hesitation.
