About Melissa

I adore children and have spent my life guiding, encouraging and teaching them. I taught kindergarten, first and second grades in Georgia public schools. In retirement I worked with babies at Kids on Canton in Roswell, Ga. Nothing gives me greater pleasure than seeing a child's pride in a new skill learned! I'd describe my personality as creative, energetic and compassionate. I like working with kids because it is a joy to see them be curious and learn new skills. I'm looking for a job that would be a live in position working with the children and being a help to the family. I started working with kids when I graduated from Auburn University. In my spare time, I like to read. One thing you should know about me is I am trustworthy and dedicated. My skills include planning activities, fostering independence and consistent schedules.
